Cartoon contest fights hate with humor

A Jewish student group is sponsoring a cartoon contest to counter the anti-Semitic-comic competition in Iran. The World Union of Jewish Students this week announced its international editorial cartoon contest, Fight Hate with Humor, in an effort to "stand the Iranians on their heads." "The whole thing about the Iranian contest would be hilarious if it weren't so terrifying," said editorial cartoonist Edward Margolis, who is backing the WUJS contest along with cartoonist Noah Crissey. Submissions can be made until May 1 at http://www.wujs.org.il/home/cartoon.php.
