Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will attend the Jewish Federations of North America's (JFNA) General Assembly held in Denver between November 6th and 8th, the Federations announced on Wednesday.
"The Jewish Federations is honored to host Prime Minister Netanyahu at the General Assembly," said JFNA CEO and President Jerry Silverman in a press release.
"The Jewish Federations appreciates this important occasion and looks forward to meeting the prime minister and discussing the future of the Jewish people with him." The General Assembly is the annual gathering organized by JFNA, a network of loosely affiliated Jewish fund raisers in the US and Canada. Netanyahu attended last year's event held in New Orleans alongside US Vice President Joe Biden and opposition leader Tzipi Livni. This year JFNA plans to showcase its newly launched Israel Action Network, an organization set up with the Jewish Council for Public Affairs (JCPA) aimed at battling delegitimization of Israel and attempts to promote boycotts, divestment, and sanctions (BDS) of it.
