A politician from Germany's Left Party has sued the on-line encyclopedia Wikipedia's German-language site for allegedly promoting Nazism, the Internet blog TechCrunch reported Friday. Katina Schubert's suit accused Wikipedia of employing too much Nazi symbolism, the use of which - except for educational purposes - is forbidden under German law. "The extent and frequency of the symbols on it goes beyond what is needed for documentation and political education," Schubert told Reuters. Wikipedia Germany denied the allegations, arguing that that the Nazi-related symbols on its site appeared in an educational context.
