To honor both Israel's 60th anniversary and International Women's Day on March 8, the Herzliya municipality is planning Women's Month in Herzliya, a month long program of events honoring Israel's women. These include the first Herzliya Conference on March 3 called "Influential Women in Law and the Media," a symposium on March 9 entitled "Women Who Made the Impossible Possible," an exhibition of works by women artists to be opened by mayor Yael German on March 6 and the premiere of Sharon Eyal's new work Kabisa Makarova March 10.
