1 Israeli dead, 10 injured in traffic accident in Jordan

Minibus carrying Israeli tourists collides with two vehicles near Amman; MDA coordinating with Foreign Ministry to send ambulances.

One Israeli was killed and 10 more were injured in a traffic accident in Jordan on Thursday. Two of the injured were in serious condition.
The collision occurred between a minibus carrying the Israeli tourists and two other vehicles near the Jordanian capital of Amman.

MDA officials were coordinating with the Foreign Ministry to send ambulances over the Allenby Bridge to collect the injured Israelis and bring them to Jerusalem.
The Israelis were receiving treatment for their injuries in a Jordanian hospital.
In October of last year, one Israeli was killed and more than 30 were injured when a tourist bus overturned near Amman.
The tourists were on there way to Petra when the accident occurred in heavy rain.
Injured passengers in serious condition were airlifted to Israeli hospitals.
