2 Palestinians shot, one killed near Gaza fence

Two Palestinians were shot by IDF troops on Saturday night when they were spotted attempting to place a bomb near the Gaza security fence north of the Sufa crossing. One of the Palestinians later died of his wounds while the condition of the other remains unclear. Soldiers spotted the two crawling towards the fence where they attempted to cut it in order to place the bomb. Soldiers opened fire and identified hitting them. The army noted that since the IDF withdrew from Gaza, there have been over 18 attempts by Palestinians to place bombs near the fence that encompasses the Gaza Strip.
