By YAAKOV KATZ•Thursday overnight - Air force fires missiles and destroys Popular Resistance Committee training camp in the southern Gaza Strip, killing four Palestinians, including one of Israel's most wanted terrorists Jamal Abu Samhadana.
•Friday 3 p.m. - IDF spots terror cell firing Kassam rocket from the northern Gaza Strip, near Beit Lahiya. IAF aircraft fire missiles at the cell, killing three and wounding four.
•Friday 5 p.m. - Seven members of the Ghalia family, including small children, are killed when what initially appears to have been a misfired IDF artillery shell explodes on a Gaza beach north of Beit Lahiya. The air force and navy launch an investigation. Defense Minister Amir Peretz later says it is possible the explosion was an "internal Palestinian incident."
•Friday 5:20 p.m. - Troops spot a Hamas terror cell on its way to fire Kassam rockets at the western Negev. IAF aircraft fire missiles, killing two Hamas members said by the army to have also been behind Kassam attacks on Sderot last week.
•Friday 6:15 p.m. - Chief of General Staff Lt.-Gen. Dan Halutz orders the IDF to suspend all artillery fire on the Gaza Strip until the end of the Gaza beach probe.
•Saturday 10 a.m. - Hamas distributes leaflets in the Gaza Strip calling for the resumption of attacks on Israel, saying "an earthquake in the Zionist towns will start again." Some 20 rockets and mortar shells are fired at Israeli communities.
