A-Zahar: Kassam launched at Israel Monday fired by collaborators

Senior Hamas official Mahmoud a-Zahar on Tuesday accused those who fired a Kassam rocket at the western Negev on Monday of being collaborators with Israel. According to a-Zahar, the perpetrators are attempting to increase pressure on Hamas and the Palestinian people, Army Radio reported. He claimed that "There is a consensus among Palestinians regarding the commitment to keeping the 'calm' with Israel," adding that all factions have ceased rocket firing since the calm came into effect in June. A-Zahar stated that there will not be any negotiations regarding captive IDF soldier Gilad Shalit or about a prisoner exchange until all crossings leading to the Gaza Strip are fully opened.
