A NATO military vehicle was struck by an explosive device in southern Afghanistan Sunday, leaving six soldiers dead and another wounded, the alliance said in a statement.
The wounded soldier was evacuated to a military medical facility, the statement said. One vehicle was damaged in the blast.
NATO's International Security Assistance force did not identify those killed and wounded in the blast. It also did not specify where in the south the incident took place.
