Bomb explodes near Baghdad's Green Zone, killing two civilians

A roadside bomb exploded next to a US military patrol near Baghdad's Green Zone early Wednesday, killing two civilians, police said.
The US military had no immediate comment on the incident, which police said occurred in the Salihiyah area of western Baghdad at around 8 a.m.
Three more civilians were also wounded in the blast, police said.
