Carter holds second meeting with Mashaal in two days

A senior official with Hamas says former US president Jimmy Carter has met with the group's exiled leader for the second time in two days. Moussa Abu Marzouk said Carter and Hamas leader Khaled Mashaal discussed a possible prisoner exchange with Israel, as well as how to lift a siege imposed by the Jewish state on the Hamas-controlled Gaza Strip. Their one-hour meeting Saturday morning came after more than four hours of talks Friday night between Carter and Mashaal at the Palestinian official's office.
