Egypt offered Palestinian Authority Chairman Mahmoud Abbas to deploy its military forces in the Gaza Strip in order to aid efforts to prevent clashes between Fatah and Hamas, Palestinian sources said.
Abbas and Palestinian Authority Prime Minister Ismail Haniyeh were positively considering the offer, the source added.
