Egyptian Deputy Foreign Minister Hani Halaf said Saturday that the country's security delegation will return to the Gaza Strip next week, and will try to return control of the strip to the Palestinian Authority's security forces, Israel Radio reported.
According to Lebanese newspaper Al Iwa, diplomats in Cairo said that Hamas leader in Syria Khaled Mashaal hinted in a letter addressed to the Halaf that his movement was ready to come to an arrangement in the Gaza Strip.
