The European Union said Tuesday it will resume vital fuel aid to the Gaza Strip's electric company.
The EU cut off aid funding on Sunday because of suspicions that Gaza's Hamas rulers are diverting electricity revenues. The move has left more than half of Gaza's 1.4 million residents largely without power.
In a statement, the EU said payments would resume Wednesday "on a provisional basis."
