Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak has not participated in a number of official events over the past couple of days, most likely due to health problems.
According to Israel Radio, Mubarak was absent from a cabinet meeting in Cairo on Monday and from the African Nations Summit in Khartoum.
The Egyptian interior ministry also cancelled a Police Day celebration, which Mubarak usually attends.
Cairo officials announced that Mubarak had come down with a cold.
