A strong explosion rocked an industrial suburb of Beirut on Monday morning, police and witnesses reported.
The explosion occured in the Mkalles area, an eastern suburb that lies a few kilometers from the headquarters of the UN team investigating the assassination of former Premier Rafik Hariri.
The cause of the explosion was not immediately known. Lebanon has been rocked by a series of mysterious explosion targeting anti-Syrians in recent months.
