Fatah and Hamas militants waged a fierce gunbattle in the northern Gaza Strip town of Beit Hanoun on Wednesday, wounding three people.
The violence came as the rival Palestinian factions tried again to reach agreement on forming a national unity government.
Violence first broke out in Beit Hanoun overnight and a new gunbattle erupted Wednesday afternoon between Fatah and Hamas loyalists. The three wounded were taken to the hospital.
