The first Indonesian troops left Wednesday for Lebanon to join a UN peacekeeping force monitoring the cease-fire between Israel and Hizbullah.
The 125-member advance team, which has seen its departure delayed several times, will prepare for the arrival of the remaining 800 troops later this month, said Maj. Muhammad Irawadi, a spokesman for the Indonesian peacekeepers.
