Gaza blast near Jihad operative's home wounds 11

An explosion went off Monday in the home of an Islamic Jihad operative, wounding 11 people, Palestinian security officials said. The blast was reported in a home in the Shati refugee camp on the outskirts of Gaza City. Security officials said 11 people were hurt, including one who was in critical condition. The blast went off in a densely populated area, near the UN's food distribution warehouse.
