While PA officials close to President Mahmoud Abbas expressed their satisfaction with Saturday's meeting between Abbas and Prime Minister Ehud Olmert, Hamas officials called the meeting "a waste of time."
"No results were achieved in discussions with Israel," Hamas sources said Sunday morning.
Hamas government spokesman Ghazi Hamad said Sunday that "Olmert is ignoring the big problem of the Palestinian people, which is that all of us are suffering from the activities of your army, both in Gaza and in Judea and Samaria."
He added that "we want an independent Palestinian state with the '67 borders."
