Hamas man wounded in Gaza last week dies of wounds

A Hamas operative on Tuesday died of wounds sustained in fighting last week, medical officials said, the latest death in a spate of factional violence in the Gaza Strip. The man was wounded in a clash with a family linked to the rival Fatah movement last Friday. He was taken to an Israeli hospital, where he died Tuesday, said Dr. Moaiya Hassanain of the Health Ministry. More than 30 people have died in fighting between Hamas and Fatah during a month of factional fighting. All of the deaths have been in Gaza, though political violence has begun to spread to the West Bank in recent days.
