Hamas official: Group will take over W. Bank in less than a year

Hamas will overthrow Fatah and take over the West Bank in less than a year, senior Hamas official Nizar Riyan said during a rally in the Gaza Strip refugee camp of Jabaliya.
"Next fall we shall pray in Ramallah," Israel Radio quoted Riyan as saying Monday evening.
Senior PLO official Yasser Abed Rabbo said in response that Riyan should be "admitted to a mental institution."
