Hamas operatives caught in Jordan with missiles

Throughout the Arab world, press reported that five Hamas operatives had been caught in Jordan in possession of extensive weaponry, including rifles and missiles. PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas expressed dismay at reports that Hamas operatives had been caught in that country. According to Abbas, the weaponry was to be used inside Jordanian borders, Israel Radio reported. Also in the Arab press, Abbas accused Khaled Mashaal, Hamas's leader-in-exile, of trying to provoke a civil war.
