Hamas: Schalit talks won't resume until Cairo frees 3 of our prisoners

A top Hamas official said Thursday that negotiations over the release of captured IDF soldier St.-Sgt. Gilad Schalit would not resume until three conditions were fulfilled. He said that the group had informed Egypt that it must free three Hamas officials imprisoned in Cairo, act for a full implementation of the Gaza truce and open the Rafah border crossing. Only then, said the official, would Hamas renew Egyptian-mediated negotiations for the release of the soldier, Israel Radio reported.
