Iranian Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki met with Syrian President Bashar Assad in Syria on Thursday to discuss the situation in Lebanon, Iraq and in the Palestinian Authority.
The two criticized the UN Security Council's decision to erect an international court to try the suspects in the assassination of Lebanon's former prime minister Rafik Hariri.
Hizbullah also criticized the UN's decision saying it was a violation of Lebanon's sovereignty.
