Two car bombs exploded in the parking lot of a police station in Baghdad on Sunday, killing seven people and wounding about 30, police said.
The blasts occurred at 10 a.m. in Baiyaa, a mixed Sunni-Shiite area of western Baghdad, a policeman said on condition of anonymity because he was not authorized to talk to the media.
He said seven people were killed and about 30 wounded, with the victims including policemen and civilians. He said the blasts damaged many homes near the police station and that the wounded were rushed to the capital's Yarmouk Hospital.
