Iraq: 2 US soldiers killed during combat in Diyala

Two American soldiers were killed, one north of Baghdad and a second in volatile Diyala province, the US Military reported Monday.
The military said one soldier was killed Sunday by a roadside bomb during a combat logistics patrol north of the capital.
The second, a Task Force Lightning soldier, died of wounds in an attack by small arms fire on Sunday in Diyala province, northeast of Baghdad.
The military statements gave no further details and said the victims' name were withheld until family could be was notified.
