Two mortar shells landed on a mainly Shi'ite neighborhood Saturday in Baghdad, killing at least three people and wounding seven, police said.
The attack occurred at 8 a.m. in a residential area in Abu Dashir, police said, giving the casualty toll. Abu Dashir is a mainly Shi'ite enclave in the Sunni-dominated area of Dora in southern Baghdad.
