Iraq: One killed as suicide bomber attacks checkpoint

A suicide bomber detonated an explosives vest at a checkpoint on the Iraq-Syrian border, killing an interpreter and wounding six others, the US military said on Saturday.
Another interpreter, two coalition soldiers, two customs personnel and two others with the US Department of the Army were injured in the explosion, the military said.
