Jordan blocks entry of Islamic Movement leader Salah

The Jordanian authorities on Sunday prevented the leader of the Islamic Movement in Israel's northern branch, Sheikh Raed Salah, from entering the country. Salah was invited to attend a Jordanian Engineers Committee event, but at the Sheikh Hussein Border Crossing, near Beit She'an, the Jordanians informed the Islamic Movement leader that he was not allowed into the country. Jordan did not give a reason for the decision.
