Lebanon: IAF strikes targets near Syrian border

Lebanese sources reported that the IAF struck targets in the eastern part of the country, near the Syrian border, early Monday morning. The IDF rejected the reports. At 2 a.m., the IAF was instructed to suspend its activity over Lebanon for a period of 48 hours, making exceptions only when necessary to prevent an imminent attack. The pause in operations is meant to give the army time to investigate the exact circumstances of the attack on Kana on Sunday that apparently led to the deaths of dozens of Lebanese civilians.
