Malaysians protest Iraq war outside US embassy

A small group of protesters gathered outside the US Embassy in Muslim-majority Malaysia on Sunday to mark the Iraq war's fourth anniversary. About 200 people massed outside the American mission in Malaysia's largest city, Kuala Lumpur, reading out anti-war speeches and holding up banners denouncing Washington's decision to invade Iraq. The Malaysian government opposes the war, and has urged Washington to seek a peaceful resolution to conflicts in the Middle East. The protest in the moderate Muslim nation follows widespread demonstrations in Washington and around the globe.
