Media outlets in the Palestinian Authority are making the internecine violence between Fatah and Hamas worse by playing to their respective audiences' expectations, the London-based pan-Arabic daily Asharq alawsat said Sunday.
The article added that Radio Al-Quds, run by the Islamic Jihad, was attempting to play down the intra-Palestinian conflict by calling on other Palestinian media to "stop broadcasting 'unfortunate' news and concentrate on the 'crimes of the Israeli army in Gaza and the West Bank.'"
