Arab states are interested in a lasting peace with Israel and stability in the Middle East, German Chancellor Angela Merkel said Tuesday as she wrapped up a four-day tour of the region.
"I have the feeling that our Arabian partners all want to work together on a resolution to the conflict," Merkel said in Dubai, where she stopped before flying to Kuwait for her last visit of the tour.
The chancellor, who has made peace in the Middle East a priority of Germany's presidency of the European Union, has also visited Egypt and Saudi Arabia.
