Palestinians die of wounds from IDF shelling

Three Palestinians, including one farmer, were hit Friday by IDF artillery fired in the northern Gaza Strip and died of their wounds, Palestinian hospital officials said. The farmer was working in his fields in Beit Lahiya when he was hit by the artillery in the stomach, the officials said. The army said it was firing artillery toward areas where Palestinian terrorists launch rockets toward Israel. The IDF was investigating the incident, Army Radio reported.
