Rajoub blames Hamas for wrecking Shalit talks

Palestinian Authority Internal Security Advisor Jibril Rajoub blamed Hamas for wrecking negotiations to secure the release of captured IDF soldier Cpl. Gilad Shalit, the London-based Al-Hayat newspaper reported on Monday morning. On a visit to Cairo, Rajoub said that Hamas's stubbornness over the release of specific Palestinian prisoners and Israel's refusal to meet its demands were the main reasons behind the failure to reach an agreement over the kidnapped soldier.
