Report: Fatah man killed by Hamas in Gaza

A Fatah man was killed by Hamas militants early Thursday in a gunbattle in southern Gaza, officials said, becoming the first casualty on internal fighting in more than two weeks. Five others were injured in the gunbattle near Rafah, two seriously, Palestinian hospital officials said. The early morning battle started with Hamas gunmen shooting at a group of Fatah men near Rafah, according to a security official from Rafah. He said Hamas gunmen then encircled the house that belongs to Fatah men, lobbed explosives at the house and in the exchange of fire, one Fatah supporter died, and five others were injured. There was no immediate comment from Hamas.
