Report:Mubarak asks Egypt's PM to form new Cabinet

Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak has asked Prime Minister Ahmed Nazif to form a new Cabinet following Egypt's general elections, but key ministers will remain, pro-government newspapers reported Wednesday. In a letter, Mubarak asked Nazif to "continue democratic reform," boost the independence of judiciary and implement economic and social changes, the newspapers said. The ministries of interior, defense and foreign affairs will not be changed in the line-up, the papers said, adding that the new Cabinet would probably be nominated Thursday.
