Rice arrives in Ramallah for talks with Abbas

US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice arrived Sunday for talks with Palestinian Authority Chairman Mahmoud Abbas, part of a Mideast swing aimed at trying to revive Israeli-Palestinian peace talks. Rice and Abbas are also expected to talk about the new Hamas-Fatah coalition, which was established just over a week ago. Abbas seeks international acceptance for the new government, but most foreign leaders he's met with so far have told him they will continue to shun Hamas cabinet ministers.
