Roadside bombs kill two US soldiers in Baghdad

Two US soldiers were killed by roadside bombs in Baghdad, the military reported Monday. A US soldier whose Multi-National Division-Baghdad unit was checking streets for explosives, was killed Sunday by a roadside bomb in central Baghdad, the military reported. The second soldier, a member of the 89th Military Police Brigade, was killed Sunday by a roadside bomb, in northern Baghdad. The names of the soldiers were withheld pending notification of next of kin.
