An amateur video said to have been filmed on Friday in Hama, Syria shows a civil defense truck firing water at protesters.
The footage, which could not be independently verified by Reuters purportedly also shows civil defense troops beating an anti government protester.
The video shows the man dragged along the street, blood streaming from his head.
The clip was released as demonstrations continue in Homs.
Syrian President Bashar Assad has largely dismissed the demonstrations as part of a foreign-backed conspiracy to sow sectarian strife in Syria.
Footage from Talbiseh showed a candlelight demonstration where protesters spell out "Down with the regime."
Last week, the Britian-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, said it has the names of 863 civilians who had been killed since the pro-democracy uprising erupted 10 weeks ago.
