Twelve people killed in road accident in northeast Syria

Twelve people were killed and three others seriously injured when a speeding truck collided with a bus in northeastern Syria, the official news agency SANA reported Saturday.
SANA said the accident occurred late Friday on the Hasakah-Tel-Temr road about 600 kilometers north of Damascus.
Dr. Marwan al-Hammoud, head of an emergency clinic in the Hasakah province, told SANA that the injured were in critical condition and were being treated in an intensive care unit.
