UNIFIL and Lebanese army step up patrols along Israel border

The United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) and the Lebanese army have stepped up patrols along the border with Israel amid escalating fears of a Hizbullah response to the assassination of its terror chief Imad Mughniyeh in Syria, Lebanese media reported Thursday. Earlier Thursday, Hizbullah's chief Hassan Nasrallah warned that "Mughniyeh's blood will lead to the elimination of Israel."
