Dimona man stabbed to death in drunken brawl

The murder victim’s 50-year-old landlord was arrested hours after emergency services found the body.

A 35-year-old man was stabbed to death in an apartment on Friday in Dimona in what police suspect was a fatal drunken brawl.
The murder victim’s 50-year-old landlord was arrested hours after emergency services found the body. A second suspect, an alleged acquaintance of the landlord, was also arrested in connection with the stabbing.
Police had to wait for the men to sober up and began questioning them only on Saturday.
The Beersheba Magistrate’s Court extended the custody of both men by a week on Saturday night.
Meanwhile, in a separate deadly incident, police are continuing to investigate the shooting death of a 25-year-old man in Ashdod.
The gunshot victim, David Shicargi, was struck by bullets fired by a 17-year-old youth after the two entered into a physical confrontation over the terms of the purchase of a moped, police suspect.
The shooter told police he felt threatened by Shicargi, who arrived at his home with a second man, to allegedly demand a fee for the purchase.
The suspect’s custody was extended by the Beersheba Magistrate’s Court by a week.
