Firefighters control fire at Ikea store in Netanya

Extensive damage done to building causing roof to collapse; 20 firefighting crews put out blaze; no injuries reported.

Firefighters contained a large fire which broke out at the Ikea store in Netanya Saturday morning.
Extensive damage was done to the building causing the roof to collapse.

Twenty firefighting crews from various areas battled the blaze. Public Security Minister Yitzhak Aharonovitch was also present at the scene of the fire.
The cause of the fire was unknown, but firefighters believe it began on the roof and spread.
No injuries were reported in the blaze.
