Four members of the Schwartz family were identified as those killed in a car accident Thursday, which occurred when a car lost control, crashed into a bus, and split into two pieces on the Arava road.
The victims were identified as Solomon Schwartz, 66, his son Erez Schwartz, 36, his daughter-in-law Sarit Schwartz, 32 and their son Amit Schwartz, 4.
The accident occurred near Kibbutz Grofit, en route to Eilat.
Eight additional people were injured in the fatal accident, with one seriously injured and the others lightly wounded. They were being treated by an MDA team at the scene.
The Arava road was blocked in both directions due to the accident, and police asked drivers to take Route 12, the alternative road to Eilat.
