A Petah Tikva resident stabbed a construction site manager with a sword on Sunday morning after becoming angry over noise, police said.The manager, 30, was lightly injured and rushed to the Rabin Medical Center- Beilinson Campus in Petah Tikva by paramedics.Police have arrested the attacker.

He is being questioned at a local police station. The stabbing suspect is said to be in light condition. Meanwhile, in an unrelated incident, a man from Ashdod was shot and moderately injured early on Sunday morning in a marketplace. Paramedics rushed the man to the Kaplan Medical Center in Rehovot.Ashdod police chief Dep.-Cmdr. Noam Shakal arrived on the scene to oversee the investigation into the shooting.
