MDA paramedics kept busy on New Year's Eve

New Year's Eve celebrations in Israel kept MDA paramedics busy on Friday night and early Saturday morning.
MDA reported 30 violent incidents overnight Friday and 70 cases of excessive drunkenness.

Twenty-six traffic accidents were recorded in which 25 people suffered slight injuries and six others were hurt moderately.
The majority of the incidents took place in the central Gush Dan region comprising Tel Aviv and its surroundings.
Magen David Adom also reported that three mothers gave birth to babies in MDA ambulances. MDA transported 31 women in birth to hospital overall overnight Friday.
