Police re-arrested the mother of twin babies on suspicion of abuse on Saturday night.
The woman, who denies any wrong doing, failed a lie detector test last week, while she was under house arrest.
The twins’ father has been in police custody for several days.
Last week, the couple’s four-month-old boy died in hospital. Doctors said serious internal injuries were caused by physical abuse prior to the arrest.
The parents said they have not harmed the babies, and that a rare genetic disease may have caused the injuries.
The father of the twins was released from army reserve duty by an IDF mental health officer in the past, Israel Radio reported on Thursday.
The baby girl has recovered from her injuries and was released from the hospital last week.
