A shooting at a restaurant on Tel Aviv’s beachfront promenade left one man dead and another lightly wounded on Wednesday night.
Police said shots were fired by a man, likely a security guard at the Yanush restaurant on Kaufman Street, following a dispute between diners during a private party there.
One man was died of his gunshot wounds as he was being evacuated to the city’s Sourasky Medical Center.
The second victim was also taken to Sourasky.
A Tel Aviv Police spokeswoman told The Jerusalem Post that the gunman had turned himself in to police and had been arrested.
She added that the man’s brother had also been arrested.
“We still do not know the background to the shooting,” she said.
